Hello and thank you for your report! You're correct this is shiny geranium. Here is some information for control: https://www.nwcb.wa.gov/weeds/shiny-geranium. If you don't have much, you can pull and trash the plants. It seeds prolifically so you may have to continue pulling as new plants sprout. But if in a small area, this will be effective over time. You can try replanting the area with native plants, there is a great guide called Garden Smart Oregon available online at https://www.portlandoregon.gov/bes/article/197414 that gives ideas for natives (or well-behaved ornamentals). Clark Co Conservation District is a great resource as well although they are currently closed due to covid-19. (https://clarkcd.org/)
