Description of specimen

Crayfish have a red tip with black on the claws. Smaller than crawfish we catch in lakes

Remedy

Never move live crayfish from one area to another.

Resources

First discovered in Oregon during the 1960s in the Rogue River. Possible introduction paths include anglers using crayfish as live bait, classroom experiments and releases by pet owners. Learn more from Oregon Dept of Fish and Wildlife.
