Description of specimen

Ten different specimens various brown colors on the upper Wings on the underside of the Wings when it flies there's orange have fat bodies and are between 1 and 1 1/2 inches long. I killed every one of them I saw the next one I see I will catch

Commentary

If there's orange when it flies then it is not a gypsy moth, they are only brown and off-white. What you have is a type of underwing moth which is native and not a pest.
