Description of specimen

I'm pretty sure the patches are knotweed, with the right stems and leaves. I'm not positive they are Japanese knotweed.

This is a tricky weed to manage. Consider reaching out to your local Soil & Water Conservation District for technical advice.

Location

There are several small patches of Knotweed,. The biggest one is behind the apartment complex on Fanno Creek south of the Tigard Library. I think there is also a patch right along the path in the restored area near the Library.
