Description of specimen

Matches the online description of an asian long horned beetle. See picture.

Commentary

This is a native sawyer not ALB. The most visible difference is that ALB is really shiny (it's also larger and the scutellum/at the at the top of the wings near the head is not white). See the attached image.

Location

It was found in lockaby campground at Site number 3 on Monday August 17th. It landed on our car, I captured it to take photos and then released it. It flew up into the tree in the campsite. It was not until I came home and was able to google it that I knew it was invasive. I can give more specifics if needed.
