Commentary

Without an images we cannot provide an accurate ID. We have many species of blister beetles (Meloidae) in Oregon and do not currently have an exotic one that we are on the lookout for. They are not a pest of concern although they can secrete a chemical that can irritate the skin when feeling threatened so it is advised not to handle them.
