Description of specimen

Unsure if this plant is the giant hogweed or just the generic cow parsnip. It has appeared relatively quickly since we've been clearing out some dying trees along our fence line. We keep our fence lines sprayed/clean pretty religiously so this has recently appeared. There are several plants in the area, one relatively large for how quickly it sprouted, within a week or two. I don't have a current picture but can send one along this afternoon. It does have the reddish streaking on the stems.

Commentary

I drove that area a couple weeks ago and it's almost certainly cow parsnip. the leaves are classic cow parsnip and not shaped quite like hogweed.
