Identification was verified by Mark Sytsma, Portland State University, in 2008 during a visit to Boone and Nute sloughs.

Location

In the upper reaches of both Boone and Nute sloughs, a tide-gated, ancient oxbow of the Yaquina River. Both sloughs are on private lands within the Mill Four Drainage District.
