Description of specimen

I believe this to be a Alder Bore Bettle not its Asian counter part. I read some conflicting things on if it's good or bad for our area. Its segment closest to the head is black and has one white spot

Location

I am in the Park here in Alton Baker Park
I am wearing a black and white patterned tank top and the bettle found me
He followed me he was so intrigued.
At which point I looked him up to realize the issue and decided to report. I took a picture today. I am sad to report this is not the 1st time I have seen this beetle intown. The 1st time was 2 years ago summer on a phone pole on west 11th down by the Fred Meyers and KFC.
I took a picture then but it was on a different phone. Its definitely the same kind the white spot is in the photos as I looked at the first one a lot not knowing what it was never having seen this bug before. I assumed he ended up intown on a car or something.
