Description of specimen

Fitsdescription of Japanese knotweed in invasive weed guides -- same leaf, plant size, white flower sprays later in summer. Not that far from a patch that was eradicated next to the Bull Run Bridge a few years ago.

Hello Beth,

Thanks for submitting your report of Japanese knotweed. I have notified land managers in the area to make sure that they are aware of the infestation. Japanese knotweed is fairly widespread in this area, but land managers are working hard to get these infestations under control. Sites are bring prioritized and control efforts will follow when time and resources allow. Thanks again for your report.
