Description of specimen

Observed bleached salal, likely caused by European greenhouse thrips Heliothrips haemorrhoidalis (not on the "reported species" list). There were 5 or 6 plants, covering about 20 square feet, displaying bleached foliage. I didn't examine adjacent plants for damage or insects.
