Reed Canarygrass (Phalaris arundinacea) on Feb 16, 2022

Description of specimen

Large and growing patch of Reed Canarygrass. Visible as you enter the path. As I've been clipping blackberries in that area, I've discovered the patch is much larger than originally thought. It's spread under some shrubs and seems to be working toward covering a whole area that had been planted with bigleaf lupine and a few Doug Firs. It's not wetlands, but it is where a developer put in a storm drainage line to a creek.
