Commentary

Thank you for your report! Your report contributes to our understanding of species' occurrence and distribution. Nutria are a common sight and widely established in the Willamette Valley, making control difficult, however exclusion can be effective. There is a lot of good information about nutria in Oregon and potential responses on the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife's Living With Wildlife site, https://www.dfw.state.or.us/wildlife/living_with/nutria.asp.
Best,
Lindsey
