There is a large group of 6 to 8 nutria, routinely seen in early evenings.
Commentary
Thank you for your report! Your report contributes to our understanding of species' occurrence and distribution. Nutria are a common sight and widely established in the Willamette Valley, making control difficult, however exclusion can be effective. There is a lot of good information about nutria in Oregon and potential responses on the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife's Living With Wildlife site, https://www.dfw.state.or.us/wildlife/living_with/nutria.asp. There is a group of about 6 to 8 very large nutria, that come up from the creek wetland area to a more open grassy mowed area next to the back parking lot of the West Hills Office Plaza. The main road is Scholls Ferry Road, near the Raleigh Hills McMenamins pub.
