Description of specimen

I was reading the ODFW email regarding the Northern Crayfish in Ashland and remembered seeing a big population of large brown crayfish near Fern Ridge reservoir in the area described above. They were behaving exactly as described in the Ashland case, moving across dry ground and were entering/exiting many dozens of obvious holes/burrows in the banks.

Much larger than any other red or brown crayfish I've ever seen.

I figured they were just something I'd never encountered. After reading the Ashland press release, and seeing it was the first confirmed population in Oregon I thought I better let you know what I saw.
