Commentary
Hello Laurie,
I would like to thank you for reporting the Tansy Ragwort and Scotch broom infestations. These species are widespread across Clackamas County. Both of these species are currently being targeted for biological control. These biological controls help to slow and prevent the continued spread of these species. Unfortunately, these biological controls will not completely eradicate the target species and additional management is required to eradicate these species. It is ultimately the responsibility of each individual landowner to control that species. Please take the time to educate your neighbors and have them contact the Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District, if they need additional help in combating these invaders. Thanks again for the report.
Sincerely,
