Description of specimen

Flat, long leaves radiating out of rhyzomes. Leaves emerging from bi-lateral base.

Commentary

Hi Bruce,

Thanks for reporting yellow flag iris at Delta Pond. Yellow flag has the capacity to completely dominate the shoreline and should be controlled while populations are patchy and still low. I believe the City of Eugene is aware of the yellow flag at delta ponds, but I forward this report along just in case. It is a useful reminder. Thanks again!
