Remedy
Himalayan blackberry has gone by many names in the Pacific Northwest, and there is yet a common consensus on which species are here and what to call the most dominant species. However, control options are similar.
Want to join forces with your community to fight invasives? There are lots of people involved in this effort already! The links below can connect you with opportunities:
We have a stream on our property and a large berry bush and other weeds that are encroaching on it. The stream itself has changed dramatically over the past year. It now has many offshoots and it cannot be seen due to the overgrowth of weeds.
Do you have any grants that could help us financially to maintain the weeds and bring the stream back to a healthy ecosystem? We cannot afford to remove the berry bush on our own.
We live on Holly Street and the nearest crossroad is River Road.
We’d appreciate your help tremendously, Nancy Day
