Cicada observed and molt shell.

Commentary

Thank you for your report! We do have cicadas in Oregon, and they are not considered to be invasive. They tend to be smaller, fewer, and not as loud as cicadas you come across in the eastern US.

Location

Cicada found at 44 Industrial Way in Lebanon, Oregon. I took a picture and observed a molt from the insect.
