Location

My husband and I were out for a walk, and I saw an iridescent green beetle in the bark dust, near a tree along the sidewalk. I thought it looked very similar to a beetle I saw when I traveled to a Thailand a few years ago, and thought there was no way this was native to Oregon. When I got home, I saw the news story about the one found in Forest Grove.
I’ll definitely keep an eye out for another one in this neighborhood!
