Location

The insect was on a folding wooden shelf on a covered wooden deck in an urban backyard approximately 40 feet from an unnamed drainage ravine that empties into an upper tributary of the Fanno Creek (Dosch Rd. & Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway). We have two street-trees planted a year ago by Friends of Trees in the front yard. The trees might be Ash trees, I do not recall specifically.
