Description of specimen

I'm amending an earlier report - I think it was (hopefully) more likely a Golden Buprestid (on a picnic table by the restroom at Mt. Scott Park in SE Portland).

Commentary

Thank you for the follow-up. There are a number of iridescent green look-alike beetles in Oregon that are not pests. I am attaching a link to the ODA EAB webpage with some photos of other Oregon insects that could be mistaken for EAB
