Description of specimen

I didn't have my camera but I'm positive there are numerous Knotweed patches growing along Fanno Creek, south of the library. Most of the patches I could see from the trail were on the other side of the creek, making them more difficult to access. However there are at least two patches on the trail side of the creek.one near the apartment complex and one where the old bridge was removed. Unfortunately, the plants appear to have gone to seed.
