Description of specimen

Sitting on my back porch and got hit in the face with this bug. Absolutely beautiful. Definitely not native. I caught it, and have it in a cup.

Commentary

Thank you for your report! Please take a picture for confirmation. There are a number of iridescent green look-alike beetles in Oregon that are not pests. I am attaching a link to the ODA EAB webpage with some photos of Oregon insects that could be mistaken for EAB
