Description of specimen

Good sized stands at both locations-- we think it is Japanese knotweed, but could be some other species of knotweed. Our park department would be interested in help eradicating it properly.

This is a tricky weed to manage. Consider reaching out to your local Soil & Water Conservation District for technical advice.

Location

At Canby Community Park boat ramp on the Molalla River and at the end of the old logging road trail at the old boom structure in what is called the Willamette Wayside on the Willamette River.
