Description of specimen

Large orange eyes, body black & orange apox 3/4 inch in length, light tan transparent wings.

Commentary

Thank you for your report! So far no Asian Giant Hornets have been found in Oregon. Most reports have turned out to be Cicada killer wasps, genus Sphecius, common native species that are not aggressive. I am attaching a couple of images highlighting the differences between Cicada killer wasps and Asian Giant hornets.
