Description of specimen

Large areas of Italian Arum, which seems to emanate from one yard in particular, and then has invaded another yard. The area is difficult to navigate. There's no way this can be eradicated by hand.

Last year my neighbors gave me full access to their property to kill holly and English laurel, which I have done by using a hack and squirt method. When working on the property I noticed Italian Arum, and at that time I simply pulled off the red seed pods and put them in the garbage, thinking I would come back in the spring and see what was there. I was shocked at the amount of Arum. I've since sprayed all of it that I could locate. It has spread almost to the creek. Most of the area is already covered with ivy, so spraying the arum isn't really detrimental to any of the native plants because there really aren't very many. Where possible, I sprayed around the ferns.

There is also quite a bit of blackberry, garlic mustard, lesser celandine, and on the other side of the creek is travelers joy, herb robert, and shiningstar geranium. Some knotweed which I'm trying to help my neighbor eradicate.
