Description of specimen

Multiple cases of thin and tall shrub with blackish brown seed pods. This was found in April and there was no flowering bloom yet.

Commentary

With scotch broom, it's so widespread that we never have enough resources to throw at it. In some areas, it's very much worth volunteer efforts or landowner commitment to reduce the populations. If you're thinking of trying to pull some of the broom in county parks, I'd consult with Adam.Stebbins@Co.Benton.OR.US. Thanks for the report.
