Description of specimen
Probably 1-1/2" long, dark colored with stripes.
Commentary
Thank you for your report! That is not EAB. It is another member of the jewel beetle family (family Buprestidae), the Western sculptured pine borer (Chalcophora angulicollis). This is a native species.Their grubs live in dying or dead pines. They are not tree killers. Thanks for being on the lookout!

Location
Live just south of Pacific Avenue and back of my house is on Hwy 47. Found this on the wall of my shed in the sun. It is about 1-1/2" long give or take
