Description of specimen

Somewhat shiny or waxy roughly heart-shaped leaves. Bright yellow flowers with 8 petals. Bulblets on roots of plant and peculiar knobby-looking seed head. Plants in full b loom.

Hi Bruce,

Thanks for reporting lesser celandine. Based on the photos, it looks like this plant is on the verge of a major explosion. I'll follow up on the best response and get back to you soon.I am uncertain of any agency or group in that area that would be willing to lead a response. I think the first step would be to contact the land owners.
