I believe it’s a white ermine moth native to Eurasia. I’ve spent 25 years in Oregon and never seen one like this.

Thank you for your report! That is our native salt marsh moth, Estigmene acrea. Its larva is the yellow woolly bear caterpillar that is much more familiar than the adults, which fly at night.

I was on a creek in the rock creek recreation are where I happened to run across this white Ermine Moth native to Eurasia.
