Drive by observation only. Needs closer look. Giant grass with large dried out seed head, looks to be phragmites but I didn't pull over to examine closer.

Thanks so much for this report. It is great to know there are observant people like you out there who can spot something "different". It is the highest level of Early Detection! (Usually we are looking for something we are already familiar with and know we want to avoid). I am going to pass this on to ODA to get checked out. If possible it would be helpful if you could supply some photos. You can event upload them to this report by clicking on the link in your report confirmation email.

Thanks for submitting the photos. That unquestionably looks like Phragmites to me. I'll forward this to ODA since Phragmites is an A listed species. Thanks!
