Description of specimen

This patch has been there for several years and keeps getting bigger. I've been fighting a small patch in my yard for a couple of years. It is hard to kill with round-up. I've been digging it up and disposing of in trash. The patch behind the apartment house is too big for me to handle that way.
Unless someone takes care of the big patch and the growing number of small patches, this is going to become a real headache along Fanno Creek. I understand this area is slated for some restoration in the future.
