Description of specimen
The specimen was a large black beetle with irregular spots and long stripped antennae.
Commentary
Thank you for your report! That is our native white-spotted sawyer, Monochamus scutellatus. Probably our nearest look-alike to ALB, but they can be recognized by the rough-textured wing covers and the pattern of white spots.
