Description of specimen

This specimen has been present for three years now. Year one and two it had been mowed by county road maintenance during their yearly vegetation mowing cycle. To date the team has not yet arrived to perform those tasks. Year one it had a single stalk/trunk. This year there appear to be three or more growing from the base. I have never observed a flower generated. An App identified it as Malva-verticillita or Sparrmannia Africans. It is not a vine. It stands alone and no others have been witnessed along my travels. Its structure makes it obvious.
