Orange dodder living on burdock.

There are both native and non-native dodders in Oregon. Some species can be weedy.

Location

Ramp C Picnic Area 14, Hagg Lake, Scoggins Valley Park, Dodder is in a patch of burdock near the west shore, in what would be boggy at a wetter time.
