Description of specimen

About 2 acres of garlic mustard in 15 locations. It has been pulled 3 times this year.

Also pulling or digging herb robert, dock weed and shining crane's bill as time permits.

Have filled over 30 100# batgs with GM and HR.

100 acres of solid English ivy. 95% cut off trees and about 16 acres pulled on ground.

9 patches of clematis - 5 patlches erradicated and the others have been dug 5 times.

Some blackberries dug out.

The wok you all are doing out at Mary S Young is really top notch. I just wanted you to know that we appreciate all of the volunteer hours that you are putting into controlling invasives out there. It really is great to see. Keep up teh good work.

In August 2010, we also found a small patch of Japanese Knotweed along the N fence - we may be able to get rid of this before it spreads. We also found sparse purple loosestrife along the Willamette River (we will dig this) and a large patch along the N fence about 200' W of N end of Railroad Trail (we have no plans to work on this).

We have started a second pass on holly and other invasive trees. Almost all of the holly trees (and other trees) that were dug out seems to be gone. Some of the large trees that were cut and painted need another treatment.
