Commentary

Hi Andres, I was out checking potential MOB sites yesterday and I happened to noticed your tree and I saw through your arborvitae the presence of pale boring dust that matches MOB. In addition I confirmed it in a tree in the park down the street from you. I also saw an oak with advanced dieback that likely has MOB in one of your neighbor's yards further down the circle. At this time we are advising for infested trees to be burned/chipped as close to 1" as possible onsite. you might coordinate with your neighbor to reduce these costs. https://www.oregon.gov/odf/Documents/forestbenefits/fact-sheet-mediterranean-oak-borer.pdf
