Knotweed (unknown species) (Fallopia sp.) on May 22, 2010

Description of specimen

quite dense stand of knotweed runs for about 50 feet at the edge of the irrgation ditch here.
the plants are about 15 feet tall, i am certain that this is knotweed.

no just want to find out if siting is confirmed

Hi Debbie, Thanks so much for reporting! I am sorry I did not follow up on this as rapidly as I should of. Yesterday I shared this report with Kyle, and this is what he had to say:

"Thanks Debbie, sounds like you found another infestation. Next time I'm in the area I can confirm, but if it's as tall as you say, there's not much else it could be. After researching ownership, and where this ditch leads we can assess an approach for this.
