Garlic Mustard
Commentary
Hi Cloudy. EMSWCD is actually going to spray the GM on the historic highway today. Contact Multnomah County roads dept for the work on their road sides. We managed those areas for them for the last few years when they didn't have staff hired for vegetation work but we don't have capacity to do everything. EMSWCD's piece of the regional effort to control garlic mustard is by managing this plant on private properties outside of our containment zone.
Garlic mustard is almost a single species plant on most of the roads above, has been blooming for 2 1/2 weeks, will seed soon. I understood that EMSWCD was spraying to control this horrific weed, but nothing done. It will soon so invade our fields that we will not be able to use our land for agricultural purposes. PLEASE SPRAY ASAP. ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
