Description of specimen

I found a handsome trig on a leaf of the blackberry bushes at the turn off from 126 to highbanks rd in Springfield Oregon.

Commentary

Thank you for your report! That's not a trig, it's a soldier beetle (family Cantharidae) in the genus Podabrus.
