Yellow-Flag Iris (Iris pseudacorus) on Jun 29, 2010

Submitter does not have a specimen
EDRR Status: Local expert notified

Description of specimen

I think it is a yellow flag iris, but it is not growing in the water but on the riverbank. The flower had wilted/ gone when I looked at the spot last night (6/28/10).

Commentary

Hi David,

Thanks so much for reporting yellow flag. I will see if someone in the area can swing by and confirm the ID. If confirmed we will send a letter to the land owner notifying them.

Thanks and please keep on reporting!
