Description of specimen

A plant with 12-inch variegated leaves. It produces a pale yellow hood (spathe?) which contains a yellow-ish spike (spadix). Later, the spike will be covered with red-ish/range-ish berries. The plant has now spread to cover about 4 feet on each side of the path, and has numerous hoods/spikes.
