Lots of tansy ragwort!

Commentary

Betsy, thanks for the report. It is certainly tansy season. It looks like there are multiple species there, and tansy ragwort is one. From the map this is City of Hillsboro property. I have forwarded your report on. While this is an invasive, and is toxic to livestock, it is common throughout the Willamette Valley. There are multiple biological controls that assist in managing this plant, but due to the biology of that relationship, we end up seeding a boom bust cycle in the tansy presence.
