Description of specimen

The wetlands area behind my house has not only poison hemlock it also has Ivy, arum. These are spreading rapidly, the IV is going up the trees, and the poison hemlock is also spreading rapidly

Commentary

Each of these species are unfortunately common throughout the county. Poison hemlock is very toxic so must be handled with care. The arum is toxic as well.

King County, WA: Poison Hemlock

Location

The wetlands area behind my house is where these invasive species are. There is not a definite fence between the wetlands and my house and the species are starting to also keep up into my backyard. I’m noticing that these species are really starting to take off and spread rapidly within the wetland area as well.
