Location

Summer Creek is a read round tributary to Summer Lake in Tigard, flowing generally southeast into Fanno Creek, the Tualatin River and the Willamette. A large (~16") common snapping turtle was observed on June 8 in the man-made pond of the Village at Forest Glen senior living community in south Beaverton.
