Commentary
Hello Mr. Veltkamp,
Thanks for reporting this infestation of Butterfly bush. Butterfly bush is a recent addition to the Oregon noxious weed list and the Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District is working with regional partners to develop a strategy to deal with this invader. Your report will help with this effort.
I went out to assess this population and it has spread throughout the area, east of the exit, down to the railroad track runnign paralell to Edgewater Rd. ODOT will be notified about this invasion and I will try to work with them to develop an appropriate response.
Again thank you for reporting this invader. Feel free to contact me if you have additional questions.
Sincerely,
Sam ______________________________________
