Description of specimen

A small iridescent green beetle about the 1/4 to 1/2 inch in length

Commentary

Thank you for your report! There are a number of iridescent green EAB look-alike beetles in Oregon that are not pests. I am attaching a link to the ODA EAB webpage with some photos of Oregon insects that could be mistaken for EAB

Location

I was running down the Squaw Creek 1951 Trail from the China Ridge 1906 trail leading back to the Buck Creek TH. I was roughly half a mile above the tree line along the creek
