Description of specimen

I looked for it online and it looks exactly like an Eight-Spotted Forester Moth. In the picture I can't see its legs which have orange hair on them. I noticed on the territorial map that it doesn't belong anywhere around Oregon.

Thank you for your report! This is Langton's Forester moth, a PNW native closely related to 8-spotted Forester. Here is some more information:
