Description of specimen

it came up in June and I thought it was a weed… When we got back from vacation three weeks later, there was a literal 6 foot tree… Actually three of them there in the corner of the yard surrounded by fences on two sides. It is a somewhat rocky, not great soil full of roots from an old tree, area. We weren’t sure whether to pull it or not but now the trunk is about an inch and a half thick. The other two are slightly smaller, but not by much.
