Description of specimen

Suspected Mediterranean Oak Borer. Oak tree had characteristic stressed crown appearance with epicormic branching. I found boring dust at the base of the tree and up through the trunk, but I was not able to locate a beetle.

Commentary

Although I did not find any adults, there was plenty of frass and dieback in both trees that match what we typically see from MOB. I added these to the map as positive trees.
